Repography

Repography values the security and confidentiality of its users above all.

Permissions

We only require read access (i.e. we can't change anything) except the ability to add a webhook to keep your dashboards up to date. We've made a deliberate choice to prioritize security and to request the fewest permissions possible.

We only support GitHub integration as a marketplace app, and not using the old OAuth scopes, because these scopes would give us more permissions than we require.

Protecting your data

When you analyse a repo using Repography, we store the resulting analysis temporarily to allow you to select and customize different designs. This analysis is stored securely using industry standard encryption. Each repo's analysis is stored with a unique encryption key.

Your data is never transmitted without encryption. Even requests between different parts of the Repography system are securely encrypted.
