Husband, Dad, Trekkie 🖖, former Microsoft Azure MVP, Cloud Architect, Consultant, Engineer, and lifelong learner.
I'm a cloud architect and engineer with a background spanning enterprise infrastructure, networking, Microsoft Azure, cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, DevOps, and platform engineering.
I enjoy solving complex engineering problems, exploring how technologies work beneath the abstractions, and helping others develop their technical skills.
My interests increasingly sit at the intersection of cloud architecture, cloud-native platforms, enterprise networking, and software-defined infrastructure.
I'm particularly passionate about hands-on engineering, automation, open-source technologies, and developing the technical judgment needed to build reliable, secure, and maintainable systems.
I'm a firm believer that there's always something new to learn. Some of my current areas of focus include:
- ☁️ Cloud & Platform Engineering: Azure, cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and DevOps.
- 🌐 Enterprise Networking: Getting back to my networking roots through CCNP Enterprise, advanced routing, BGP, and network troubleshooting.
- 🔀 Software-Defined Networking: SDN, programmable infrastructure, network APIs, and automation.
- 🐝 Cloud-Native Networking: Cilium, eBPF, Kubernetes networking, network security, and observability.
- 🐍 Network Automation & NetDevOps: Python, testing, automation, and network assurance.
- 🌍 Multicloud Networking: Expanding my networking knowledge across AWS and Google Cloud alongside Azure.
Because apparently studying routing protocols in my spare time is my idea of fun. 😂
I enjoy sharing knowledge, learning from others, and contributing to the technical community.
- 📝 Blogging and sharing engineering experiences at Engineering Clouds.
- 🎙️ Co-host of Cloud Native Weekly, available on YouTube and Spotify.
- 🌱 Always interested in connecting with engineers working across cloud, Kubernetes, networking, automation, and open-source technologies.
Keep learning. Keep experimenting. Keep engineering.
