What Changed

CI:

• Replaced the unit test workflow with a continuous integration workflow.
• Added linting and build/packaging steps.
• Updated unit test execution to generate the JSON report used for coverage publishing.
• Saved the artifacts required for the coverage report.

ESLint:

• Added Node.js globals to the ESLint configuration.
• Fixed linting issues identified in the existing codebase.

Coverage:

• Updated the coverage comment workflow to use artifacts generated by the new CI workflow.
• Replaced PR identification via the API with the PR number saved as an artifact.
• Replaced manual comment generation with the jest-coverage-report-action.
• Configured a sticky PR comment to update the coverage report on subsequent runs.

Reason for the Change

Expand CI checks by adding linting and build/packaging validation to pull requests and pushes to main.

Results

Locally:

• yarn lint runs without errors.
• yarn build runs without errors.
• Unit tests run successfully with coverage enabled.

CI:

• Configured the workflow to validate linting, packaging, and unit tests on pull requests and pushes to main.
• Coverage reports are automatically published to pull requests.
