We're a group of researchers focused on a socioeconomic model of Earth from 10000BC to Now. As such, we work to supply both historic and real-time data at the most granular of levels for the entire globe.
Confoederatio also builds the software and mapping ecosystems needed to reconstruct, produce, and analyse vast quantities of human data.
All our data is accessible via Dataview. Here are just some of our projects:
- Borders: Atlas | Cities: Stadestér | Economics: Eoscala | Population: Velkscala
- Frameworks: Collation | Vercengen | ML: Harbinger
- GIS: Naissance
- Software: Dataview | Unitel OS

- Learn how to code. Learn systems thinking.
- Let us know what you’re good at.
This repository also contains various Markdown files to help you and your agents get up to speed.
AI Policy.
As a form of auto-complete, we believe AI works best when the user can't see it. Anything facing the end client should be human written and configured.
Agents are inherently misaligned, as vendors have a tendency to fuzz requests using magic numbers, incomplete execution, and heuristics to save on cost. Contributing programmers are responsible for both steering them and reading the code they propose to ensure they follow overarching architectural decisions and contract guidelines. Guidelines are to be placed in the ./agents/ folder.
- Use AI for: data entry/scraping, API contracts, testing and validation, data visualisation.
- Do NOT use AI for: frontend design/writing, systems architecture. User-facing apps and systems must have a human face.
- We're open source. Therefore, we treat everything here as public. Security is on you.
